1,556 illegal oil refineries have so far been destroyed by the Nigerian Navy in 2013. 1,646 suspects have also been arrested, according to the Chief of Naval Staff, CNS, Vice-Admiral Dele Ezeoba.
Ezeoba disclosed this at the launch of the Chief of Naval Staff Strategic Guidance, SG, 02 in Abuja, yesterday.
